S.ID PUMP – REVERSIBLE - Metal (Siphons Into Drum)

|
1. Compressed Air. Max. 2.5 Bar. - SID PUMP REVERSIBLE – driven by compressed air. Tested and set to maximum safety pressure (in drum) of 0.25 Bar, with a running pressure of 2 Bar. This is secured by a pilot valve inside the unit. The pilot valve must be checked on a regular basis (e.g. every 6 months). This is very easy to check – by unscrewing the top and push with a finger on pilot to check that it manoeuvres freely. Maximum Operating Pressure: 2.5 Bar Recommended Operating Pressure: 2 Bar.
Suction / Reverse Unit provided with:
1. Ball Valve
2. Reverse Button
3. Exhaust Filter
4. Flood Stop (protects against flooding)
5. Riser Pipe (Cut to appropriate length)
6. Tube bending / Adaptor
7. 1.5 metre hose
8. Transition Piece
9. Extension Tube
10. Corner mouthpiece
11. Floor / Tank mouthpiece
3.
Exhaust. Not to be blocked. If noise increases, the exhaust filter must be changed.
4. Safety Valve. Make sure the barrel is not over filled. Make sure valve manoeuvres correctly.
5. Pipe for fluid reversing. Pipes push together. Lube gaskets with water when mounting. Shorten pipes to 2-5mm less than 2” RG thread to bottom. Cut 35-45° for better flow.
6. Pipe bending / extension for 2” RG.
7. Hose.
8.
Mount piece (hose – extension pipe).
9.
Extension pipe.
10.
Suction piece
for small corners.
11. Floor/Tank suction piece.
Maintenance:
Unscrew
the top to see if working freely by carefully pushing
with your finger. (Factory tensioned to 108g. for max pressure in barrel 0.25 Bar).
It is important
to check the pilot valve on a regular
basis to prevent too high a pressure in the barrel. Check Pilot Valve every 6 months
or after every reversal.
